Why it matters

Art. 13 GDPR requires you to inform users about what you process, why and with whom — at the time of collection. A contact form alone already triggers this.

How to fix it

Publish a privacy policy that reflects your real stack (hosting, backend, payment, any trackers) and link it from the footer. Generic generator text that doesn't match reality creates its own risk.
